The picture above is quite remarkable, this should be Monsieur Georges Carrette (nice well dressed man in the middle) at work visit in the Bing factory.

Georges Carette (1861-1954), a born Frenchman who went to Nuremberg to build a toy factory.

He started his production in 1886 as a supplier of Bing (explanation for the photo).

In 1893 he first appears as a fully self-producing toy manufacturer at the Chicago Chicago World Exhibition.

In addition to his own production line, he also continues to manufacture parts for toy manufacturers worldwide.

However, at the outbreak of the First World War his factory is taken from him, and he had to leave Germany because due to his French descent.

His firm was still being continued by Paul Josephtal, but in 1917 it finely had to closes its doors.
